This page explains who we are, what we collect when you contact us, which services process it and which cookies and browser storage this website uses. We do not sell your inquiry data.

When you send our RFQ form or prequalification form, we receive what you enter: inquiry type, buyer type, company name, contact name, country, company website, email, phone or WhatsApp number, product family, standard, size, pressure class, material grade, quantity, destination, needed-by date, inspection requirements, certificates and your summary.
The same record keeps the page you sent the form from, the source information described below, your browser's user-agent string and the country that Cloudflare derives from your IP address. We do not store your IP address with the inquiry. To limit repeated submissions, our form handler keeps a salted hash of it, not the address itself; entries older than 10 minutes are deleted when the next form is sent.
On our ASME B16.5 dimension page you can confirm a size or report a value you think is wrong. We receive the flange type, class, size, pipe schedule and units you were viewing, what you type into a report (the value, where you checked it and, only if you add it, your email address), the country that Cloudflare derives from your IP address and a salted hash of the address, which limits repeated reports. Each report of a wrong value is also emailed to our sales mailbox through Resend.
When you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send, including drawings and files.
Our script bfd-attribution.js records how your visit started, so that an inquiry can be linked to the page and campaign that brought it: the first page you opened on this site, the site that referred you and the UTM values in the link (source, medium, campaign, term and content). For a referring site other than ours, only its domain is kept. Values that look like an email address, a web address, a phone number or an order number are not kept.
The record stays in your browser (see Cookies and Browser Storage) and reaches us only inside a form you send.
We use this information to answer your RFQ, review drawings and specifications, prepare quotations, reduce repeated clarification, see which pages bring relevant inquiries and improve our communication with you. We do not sell your inquiry data.

bfd_attribution: our cookie. It holds the source information described above (first page and referring site, first and latest UTM values with the page they arrived on, and when the record was created and expires). It lasts 30 days after your last visit and is set with SameSite=Lax, and with Secure on HTTPS.bfd_attribution_v1: our localStorage entry with the same record, which also expires 30 days after your last visit.bfd_attribution_qa_v1: a sessionStorage entry, created only when a link carries our internal test marker (bfd_test); it lasts 30 minutes._ym_uid, _ym_d and similar) and Yandex Metrica localStorage entries, on www.bldforgedirect.com only. Your inquiry is read by our sales team in China and, where the quotation, manufacturing, inspection or export documents need it, by the colleagues who work on them. The services listed above may process data in other countries.
Inquiry records and the files you send us may be retained while the RFQ, quotation, supplier registration, project follow-up or related commercial communication remains active. Older records may be deleted when they are no longer needed for communication or project reference.
